Collect information for two recent stock recommendations (reports or presentations) that include the annual financial forecasts and valuation multiples used to build the respective price targets. This can be your own work or from a sell-side report (it will not be collected and so it can be something that is still work-in-progress)
Collect the following:
Price of the stock
Price of the most commonly-used market index
Consensus estimates for the stock and the index
In Bloomberg the stock and index consensus estimates can be found on the respective EEO pages (see screen shot)
If you don’t have access to a market data provider, Yahoo Finance’s “Analysis” tab has consensus estimates for stocks (see screen shot) whereas the S&P 500 consensus estimates can be found by searching the internet for “S&P 500 consensus forward earnings estimates”
The data above will be used for the exercise “How Do You Differ?”
