The worst part of every buy-side interview, and how to survive it

This article discusses how to approach a stock pitch when interviewing for a buy-side role. Picking a stock that is not widely covered and doing thorough research that yields a differentiated view are two of the points that make interviewees more likely to perform well during the interview process. It also emphasizes that analysts are often wrong about their recommendations; when they are wrong, they should accept responsibility and understand the factors that led to them making the wrong call.
