Skill Building Exercise: Prioritize List of Factors
For a stock of interest, complete the associated Excel file to list at least 10 factors that are often discussed by the financial media or the company’s management and then rank the factors to identify those that are truly critical. If you’re new to a stock, review the associated video that shows how to find the top-20 most read Bloomberg stories for a stock over the past year, which can be helpful to populate your list. Then use the HELP™ framework to conduct a historical analysis (there is another video on this step).
